We are excited to share that Franklin Education Connection is a participating agency in the Johnson County Community Foundation’s inaugural Giving Day and we want YOU to help us make it a success!
What is Giving Day?
Giving Day is going to be the most generous day of the year! It’s a one-day event, primarily driven by digital media, that allows individuals, businesses, and the Foundation the opportunity to support nonprofit organizations in Johnson County that are helping meet the needs of our county. Giving Day will become a gateway for people to connect to causes doing good work in areas they passionately care about. The Johnson County Community Foundation will be proportionally matching donations made to each agency throughout Giving Day from a pool of $60,000!
When is Giving Day?
Mark your calendars! Giving Day will take place on the Summer Solstice, Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. There are MANY ways to participate in the activities being offered that day. Check out the schedule of events below to learn more about what’s happening when. Not in town or can’t make it that day? No problem! Donations can be made throughout the day online at jccf.org. Just click on FEC as your preferred agency. If you prefer to pay by check and can’t make it to the Foundation that day, we are happy to come to you and collect donations. Just reach out and let us know!
As a supporter of FEC, you already believe in our mission of enhancing academic excellence and instilling a lifelong love of learning in our students at Franklin Community Schools. Participating in Giving Day gives us the opportunity to maximize every dollar donated in a 24-hour period, which will help us further expand our reach and positively impact more FCS students and teachers! We are excited to be participating in Giving Day and are grateful to the Johnson County Community Foundation for the opportunity. We hope you’ll join in the fun on Thursday, June 21st to help make Giving Day a success for FEC!
